My Journey Into End-of-Life Care
Crossing the Sacred Bridge with Care and Compassion
This work is more than what I do, it’s who I am. I became a death doula because I believe no one should have to face the end of life, whether their own or a loved one’s, feeling alone, afraid, or unheard. I have always felt called to sit with others in life’s most sacred and tender moments, offering presence and comfort where it’s needed most. Through my own experiences with loss and seeing how often emotional and spiritual care is overlooked at the end of life, I knew there had to be a gentler, more human way to cross that bridge.
My Training & Experience
I am a professionally trained and certified End-of-Life Specialist, with education in advance care planning, legacy projects, vigil sitting, grief support, and non-medical respite care. My training also includes trauma-informed care, active listening, spiritual accompaniment, and supporting families through complex dynamics with compassion.
I continue to learn through ongoing education, mentorship, and most importantly through the wisdom of those I am privileged to serve.
What You Can Expect
When we work together, you can expect a calm, steady presence. I hold a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where your values, beliefs, and wishes come first. Whether it is creating a legacy project, sitting vigil, supporting caregivers, or simply offering a listening ear, my role is to walk alongside you with gentleness and care.
I believe the final chapter of life is as sacred as the first, and it deserves to be met with dignity, love, and deep respect. Together, we will create a path that feels meaningful, safe, and uniquely yours.
