  • No. Services are non-denominational and nonjudgmental. All beliefs and backgrounds-secular, spiritual, or religious are honored working to create sacred space that reflects your values.

  • Based in Charlottesville, VA, and serve surrounding areas in person. Virtual consultations and support are also available for those outside the region.

  • No. Services do not replace medical professionals, hospice, or legal counsel. I work alongside those providers to offer emotional, spiritual, and logistical support.

  • Absolutely. Living funerals can be a powerful way to honor life before death, say goodbye, or share messages with loved ones. By helping you plan a meaningful, heartfelt gathering that reflects your wishes.

  • Yes. I provide education and guidance on home funerals, green burial options, and natural transitions, helping families navigate these paths with confidence and reverence.

  • Not at all. Many individuals are healthy but want to prepare in advance, create legacy projects, or talk through their wishes. Caregiver support is also offered alongside with grieving families after a death has occurred.

  • Pricing varies based on the service, and with sliding scale rates to ensure accessibility. Everyone receives a free 30-minute consultation to explore what support fits best.

  • Currently, most insurance plans do not cover death doula services. However, a sliding scale pricing is offered to make support accessible.
